Performance by Carola Demarchi and Paki Paola Bernardi. On the occasion of Mostra Centrifuga Centrale. Curated by Nicola Di Caprio. For Centrale Festival. In a laundromat, two performers joined by a single shared garment transform an everyday gesture — emptying a dryer and folding a sheet — into a relational device grounded in listening, negotiation, and interdependence. The physical constraint redefines individual autonomy, while the sound of the machines becomes a temporal score. The performance investigates the relationship as a space of transformation, where the boundaries between bodies are reconfigured and the ordinary becomes a shared experience.
